Mindmaps, timelines and flow charts are great way to present information and the following will help you maintain your focus and clarity.

#1 Sleep at night

A good night’s sleep is essential. As you sleep, your brain is preparing for the next day, enabling you to be alert and productive the next day.

The human brain and body love consistency. Hence, sleeping and waking up at almost the same time everyday is beneficial. Sleep should happen at night, before midnight.

It is also highly recommended not to touch your gadgets or watch TV an hour before you sleep. The bright lights from your mobile phone, laptop, TV and more tell your brain that it is time to be awake. Too much exposure to these lights are also not good for our eyes.

#2 Take naps

Taking a short nap after studying has shown to improve your memory of the things you have just studied.

A short nap is also an excellent reward for all the hard work you have put in!

#3 Consume less sweet food and drinks

Sweet food and drinks give you an artificial high. This high will wear off over time, leaving you to feel tired.

There are many benefits of drinking water which include having a fresh breath, stay slim and increases productivity.

Eating healthy also increases your productivity as you will feel less lethargic. The nutrition will keep your mind sharp and immune system strong, providing you with an advantage over your other friends.

#4 Eat more fish

Fish (especially tuna, salmon and sardine) contain Omega-3 fatty acids. These acids boost memory and protect the brain.
